Freeform Technology
Free Form uses the latest technology in the production of the world's progressive lens. Lenses now produced with this technology, are not also wonderful cosmetically in appearance but also provide comfort to the wearer thanks to its unique design that surpasses the accuracy outcomes of conventional progessive lens design techniques.
Free Form's technological superiority over the old methods can be grouped under several headings.
Personal progressive:
Personal Free Form technology is produced progressively according to the analysis of the patient's own needs (vertex distance, pupillary aperature, pantoscopic and frame wrap angles).
Surface accuracy:
ISO standards of diopter tolerances are internationally recognized in lens production. Since there are no lens molds used during this production process, lens deformation does not occur. As a result, the wearers prescription accuracy is more exact and higher tolerance acceptance than the conventional progressive process. In summary, thanks to Free Form technology, the most accurate possible prescription information can be achieved from any wearer with just a few added measurement steps during the fitting process.
Wider Field of View:
Since Free Form technology processes the progressive surface to back surface of the lens, the front surface offers a wide peripheral field of view.
Lower image disorders:
In Free Form technology, since no process is done to the front surface of the lens, the total magnification is much less which provides a more natural or realistic eye image size.
A wider range of products:
Since Free Form technology easily brings progressive designs with any desired material together, it provides the industry with an exceptionally large catalog of choices compared to the conventional progressive process.
